We believe that through innovative software backed by research driven from human experiences and emotions, we can make the usage of mental health resources a trend, like fashion, but different.
Brian Femminella is the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder at SoundMind. He has a cyber security and political background, in which he has risen to an influential mental health advocate through his time in the Armed Forces, United States House of Representatives, and collegiate career. Brian is a current United States Army National Guardsman, and his Alma Mater is The University of Southern California. He is the creator of all things SoundMind. Aside from mental health, things Brian would love to see more appreciated in this world: phoneless human interaction, European fashion, and written letters.
Travis Chen is the Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder at SoundMind. He is currently an Associate Account Executive with Amazon Web Services, and formerly worked for the United States Senate. He has fostered the importance of mental wellness in his everyday life, along with being an advocate of mental health in Asian American communities. Travis is a graduate of the University of Southern California. He is the driver of all things SoundMind. Aside from mental health, things Travis would love to see more appreciated in this world: cloud computing, classical music, and travel points. He currently serves on the Board of the Alumni Entrepreneurship Network of the USC Alumni Association, and most recently spoke at the Fall 2021 USC Convocation as the Alumni Speaker.
Jack Zimmer is the Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder at SoundMind. He is a Cyber Threat Analyst at the firm Raymond James, and is an expert in all things technology and cyber security. Jack's Alma mater is Purdue University where he and his team placed in top hackathon leader boards. He brings all things technology and innovation to SoundMind. Aside from mental health, things Jack would love to see more appreciated in this world: privacy, security, and music.
Sydney Bracht is the Chief Research Officer at SoundMind. Sydney's Alma mater of Johns Hopkins University studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Spanish. She has worked in numerous labs investigating the biological mechanisms that drive cancer metastasis in murine models and spent this past summer working at Pfizer. In addition to laboratory research, Sydney is a volunteer for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and works on all clinical testing and health research for our product. She is the voice of all things SoundMind. Outside of mental health, three things she would love to see more appreciated in this world are scientific literacy, clean energy, and black tea.
